Frequently asked questions

HOW DO I KNOW IF I'M A GOOD CANIDATE FOR CARE?

Take advantage of our complimentary 15 minute consult with the Doctor. During this call the Doctor will listen to what you are going through and make the most appropriate recommendation for care, whether that be at Peak Brain Performance Centers or if you would be better served by another provider.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

In order to provide you with the highest quality of care and the outcomes that you desire, we offer a self-pay model. We have one price for all services that we provide, the entire time that you are under our care.

HOW LONG IS THE TREATMENT PORGRAM?

Each patient will start out with a 2 hour initial examination. Based upon the examination your doctor will make a unique and individualized treatment plan recommendation. The treatment plan is variable in length based on each patient’s condition. Typically we initially see patients for 14 hour long treatment sessions over a period of 5 days. During the week your Doctor will use a functional neurological approach and in depth diagnostics to assess your condition, develop a customized recovery plan and adjust your therapy throughout the week based on your ongoing progress.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE THE PROGRAM IS OVER?

Your treatment won’t stop when you go home; we’re with you every step of the way. During your last treatment session you will sit down with the doctor you worked with during your time in the clinic. The doctor will answer any questions and discuss the patient’s progress as well as any necessary at-home and/or in-office treatments that are recommnded. We commonly give patients an at home exercise routine to continue their progress. Along with all that you will have sceduled phone call and email check in's with your doctor to discuss your continued progress.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?

If possible please submit the initial intake forms prior to your initial exam to allow adequete time for the doctor to review before your visit. It is also important to bring all relevant scans and reports that you may have received in the past. This may include MRI or CT scans, as well as any blood work related to your current condition. Please dress in a way that allows you to be very mobile.

WHAT ARE OTHER SAYING ABOUT THEIR EXPEREINCE AT PEAK BRAIN PERFORMANCE CENTERS?

You can view all of our patient testimonials on youtube and our facebook page.

WHAT ARE THE TREATMENT SESSIONS LIKE?

They are non-invasive and non-pharmaceutical, yet often described as “challenging.” Your doctor will perform a thorough examination and determine therapies that will be the most impactful. From there, we utilize a combination of visual, vestibular, physical exercise, cognitive exercises, and integrated sensory stimulation in a therapeutic manner to influence change in the brain.

WHAT IF I SIGN UP FOR CARE AND I'M NOT IMPROVING?

Within 2-3 days we should be able to start seeing change in objective markers as well as subjective symptoms. If there are no subjective or objective improvements and you are questioning if this program is right for you we will have a straight-forward conversation about what are the next appropriate steps to help you move in the right direction whether that be with us or with another provider.

WHAT TYPE OF SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

The equipment we use is very specific to your individual condition. You can see a sampling of the types of Treatments and Therapies we use on our website. But ultimately it comes down to how these treatments and therapies are combined in your individualized care plan that makes all the difference to your recovery.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

With our current waitlist, last minute cancellations hinder the ability for us to move patients up in line. Because of this, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be placed at the time of booking your initial evaluation. This deposit will be applied to your initial evaluation. We understand that schedules change. In the event that you need to reschedule your appointment, your deposit will remain valid.
